Life Drawing for Artists

When?  Monday Evenings 7.15 - 9.30 pm.  

Where?  Cambridge Artworks, 5 Greens Road, Cambridge CB4 3EF. It is a tiny road off Victoria Road, near to Staples on Mitchams Corner.

The class is ideal those with some experience in Life Drawing - perhaps an A level or two terms of life drawing as a minimum.  There are twelve drawing spaces.  You could drop in for a class and see how you get on.  The cost is £16 for a single class or £124 for a twelve week term. 

It is a friendly group with varied models, usually alternating male and female each week.  There is a mixture of easels and donkeys for you to use.  In addition there are drawing boards and clips, and materials for you to buy in class.  Plenty of parking, with double parking. 

We follow a structured programme of topics which you can choose to follow or ignore!  Past topics have included Action Drawings, Erotic Line, Pastel Techniques and Portrait.  The topic is introduced with an illustrated paper, focusing on artist examples for your inspiration.

There is break when you can serve yourself with tea, coffee and biscuits.
